Gatecrasher Advertising won the prestigious award as part of the

Curtin Executive Director Corporate Communications Val Raubenheimer
said the win, which was announced last week, was well deserved
following the success of the 2003 campaign.

Gatecrasher should be congratulated for their outstanding efforts
on this project," she said.
"The 'Curtinnovation' brand has really captured the attention
of both our target markets and the general public in a very short
space of time."
The 'Curtinnovation' campaign took place from March to October,
focussing on market research showing Curtin's strong reputation
for innovation.

the 'Curtinnovation' slogan and a resulting increase in high school
leaver preferences.

innovative university doubled during this time.
Ms Raubenheimer said the campaign had been developed in a strategic
way and was supported by independent and thorough research.
She said the project had been highly collaborative, with University
Marketing staff working closely with all areas of Curtin to support
the campaign.
"Curtin staff and students have also embraced this campaign,
encouraging a strong sense of identity both within the University
and beyond."
Gatecrasher account director Paul Yole welcomed the award.
